I am very thankful to Amar Singh from CM-Alliance as today, I got a chance to learn new things in cybersecurity. I have been in the industry for 19+ years and I have done PT testing in the initial stages and moved on with the latest technology. But when we try to get in touch with new people who are currently into SOC management or the SIEM, the concept that they have gone through is totally different from my learnings and they are ahead in their understanding of tools, etc. Further, when it comes to explaining the issues before board members, it becomes very difficult for us as we hire salespersons to explain the issues before board directors. But today what we have been taught is how to explain the technical issues to everyone.

The course was detailed and very good as I was able to get more information regarding the SIEM and how to have a process for SOC maturity. Though I know that it was a long course, but I didn't feel like that. When you speak out the name of the course, you think of quite a dry thing which makes you feel sluggish. But it was very interesting where we touched upon all the key concepts. It was more interactive with multiple people from different geographies. It was a good session and a good refresher.
